Pool Waterproofing Pymble

Pool Waterproofing Preparation – Pymble Renovation Project

On this Pymble project, our team was on site during the early preparation stages of a major renovation and new pool installation, ensuring everything was set up correctly before waterproofing began.

Craig walked through the process as the team applied a two-part epoxy moisture barrier to the substrate, creating the right foundation for the waterproofing system to bond effectively.

Preparation at this stage is critical. Without proper surface treatment, waterproofing systems can fail prematurely, leading to costly issues down the track. By applying the correct moisture barrier before installation, we ensure long-term protection and performance.

For pool builds and renovations, this step plays a key role in preventing water ingress and maintaining the integrity of the structure over time.

Many pool projects begin during the cooler months, allowing everything to be completed and ready for use by summer. Getting the preparation right early ensures the final result not only looks good but performs exactly as it should.

At Shane’s Waterproofing, we work closely with builders and project teams to deliver reliable, high-quality waterproofing systems from the ground up.
